Your information will only be held as long as necessary, the retention period will vary dependent on the services we provide to you. We have policies and procedures in place to ensure data is only held as long as necessary.
Information Sharing
We may share information with external companies in order to provide our services to you, including, but not limited to invoicing, accountancy purposes and other business-critical operations. Information will only be shared with external companies under a written agreement that they will handle data in-line with our data protection policies and will not use your data for marketing purposes.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and store.
Google Analytics
We use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make nor allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
How we use cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added, and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

We do not currently operate a newsletter to external parties. In the event that we begin doing this in the future, when you sign up we will collect personal information. We use that information for a number of reasons: to tell you about our services; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We do not pass on your details to third parties for marketing purposes.
At times we use a third-party provider to send emails, MailChimp. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter/emails. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by emailing enquiry@thinktherapy1st.co.uk requesting that you are unsubscribed from future mailings.

Our website may contain links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily.
